Tonight we celebrated you by inviting all of our family over for dinner and cake. You dug into your cake and enjoyed it greatly. You got a little people nativity set, a big tonka car, some soft balls, a race track and a teddy bear. The people who came to celebrate you were: Nana, Papaw Jim, Granmaw, and Papaw Raymond, Uncle Joey, Aunt Kristin, Camryn and Alex, Uncle Cliff & Colby, with their friends Monica and Annie, and Sissy. Of course Mommy, Daddy, Britton and Chesney all rounded out your party. You had a great time. We love you so much sweet son.

12/11/08: "Daddy, I didn't throw up in a bucket, God helped keep it in my throat." This was during the middle of dinner!

Britton:
12/10/08, Britton say's, "I want to play the real football in the fall, not flag football." Daddy replies, "You got to be tough to play football." Then Britton replies, " I am tough, haven't you seen me take down a 13 year old girl!"

12/11/08, Today we were at the Birmingham Children's Theater to see The Best Christmas Pagent ever. This morning Chesney woke up saying that her tummy was hurting and she had "the look" that says Im going to be sick. She rested a while and then seemed fine, so we decided to go on to the show. Once we got in our seats, Mrs. Cristy J. and the kids were there sitting a couple of rows back. Britton then yelled over two rows of people to say, " Mrs. Cristy, If Chesney gets sick then Momma's going to take her to bathroom and Im going to come sit with you."

My beautiful baby, Cade, you have begun shopping at Foodworld. At least that what Britton began calling this new thing you do. You are a very messy eater. However, you love to EAT!

Alot of food misses your mouth and falls to the floor. Probably more on the floor than in your mouth. Anyhow, Britton and I take turns sweeping the kitchen floor after each meal. If the scraps aren't swept up before you get out of your seat, then we will find you under the table with fists full of food. Here are a couple of pics of just that!

3rd Generation Best Salesmen

Our family went to the Trussville parade this past Saturday to watch our dear niece, Alex, march in the parade. Britton, you have been begging us to let you set up a lemonade stand at our home, or let you sale lemonade to the homeless. You keep getting helping the homeless and having a sale of some sort to make money mixed up. Anyway, your Dad had the idea of setting up a hot chocolate stand in front of Best Ins. agency during the parade. You and Camryn did a great job. You made $11 total in which the two of you split the profits. Then the ice cream truck came by and you spent most of your profit right away. The ice cream was too cold for you to eat it, because it was only 30 degrees outside. You had a great time setting up your stand. Here are some pics to remember your first money making adventure....

First steps

Today Cade took three steps. Mommy, Daddy and Britton were all present to witness it. It was a wonderful moment. We all got so excited and Cade, you got a little shy and then decided to throw your hands up in the air in excitement with us.

You are so precious and growing up too soon! I love you my sweet son!

Cade got to have his first Krispy Kreme doughnut this weekend. And he enjoyed every bit of it!!
